Bishop’s Castle Broadband Collective was formed by local people in order to bring broadband to the town.

It is a not for profit organisation run by volunteers who give up their spare time for the the good of the community.

The volunteers are:

Simon Egan - Chairman (because he is the tallest)
John Rainey - Secretary (because he can spell secretary)
Jonathan Greig - Treasurer (the only one of us who can count)
Kate Evans - Publicity (as she is nice and friendly)
Tim Phillips - Who does all our wonderful drawings
Simon Barber - SSH, DCME & MESH (only he knows what this means)
Mike Ashwell - General good egg
John Lucas - Who owns a good set of ladders for putting up aerials.

The whole thing was started by Rob Lawrence and Jason Hollingsworth without who’s inspiration and vision we would never have got off the ground.
